Terms Of Use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. Purpose and identity of the website operator
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website or online informational pages on which they are published, operated under the name Afterwards Technologies ("Afterwards Technologies", "we", "us" or "our"). For enquiries concerning these Terms, legal notices and requests related to website use, our contact email is legal@afterwardstechnologies.com. The website describes technology-related activities that may include AI strategy and consulting, digital transformation, custom software and web application development, intelligent automation, AI agents, data and analytics, applied research, technical support and professional training. Publication of a service category does not establish that every listed service is available at all times or on identical commercial terms.
2. Scope and legal effect
These Terms apply to informational browsing and the use of website features insofar as enforceable under applicable law. They do not automatically form a paid services agreement, a software licence, a data-processing agreement or a consumer purchase contract. Any online transaction, account creation or paid educational enrolment must also be governed by the legally required transactionspecific information and terms. Access to a public page does not by itself constitute consent to receive marketing emails, consent to optional cookies or acceptance of unrelated commercial obligations. If a user does not wish to comply with lawful conditions applying to an optional service feature, the user should refrain from using that feature.
3. Nature of website information
Descriptions, articles, demonstrations, reference architectures, screenshots, illustrations, case studies, indicative prices and statements of possible benefits are published for general information and business discussion unless expressly presented as a complete and binding offer. Actual project availability, functionality, delivery schedules, pricing, support commitments and acceptance criteria are established in a written proposal and, where applicable, a signed agreement or order. A mock-up, proof of concept or hypothetical financial result is not evidence that the same result has been achieved for a particular client. Technical information may become outdated and should be verified before any material business decision.
4. Requests for proposals and formation of contracts
A visitor may enquire about a project, request a meeting, or provide a brief through a channel made available for that purpose. Sending an enquiry does not require us to accept an engagement, provide free consulting, reserve resources or commence work. We may reasonably request further information, propose a paid discovery phase or decline a proposed engagement where lawful. A contractual commitment arises only when the parties have completed the applicable agreement process, including any express acceptance, signature, order confirmation or other legally effective step required for the particular transaction. Quotations may identify their own validity periods, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, payment milestones and change-control requirements.
5. Relationship with master services agreements and statements of work
AI consulting projects, software development, agentic workflows, integrations, support retainers and enterprise services may be governed by a Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, order form, Service Level Agreement, Data Processing Agreement, confidentiality agreement or other signed document. For the specific subject matter of a project, an expressly agreed, valid projectspecific term prevails over a conflicting general website statement to the extent allowed by law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of client materials, define a complete software handover, grant a production licence, or allocate GDPR controller/processor roles in the absence of an applicable agreement.
6. Limited licence to use the website
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, visitors may access, read and make reasonable personal or internal-business use of publicly available website content. This permission is non-exclusive, nontransferable and limited to lawful browsing and evaluation of our services. It does not authorise copying substantial parts of the website for commercial republication, selling our materials, creating misleading reproductions or using protected branding without permission, except where a statutory exception applies.
7. Prohibited conduct
Users must not use the website to violate law or third-party rights, impersonate another person, transmit malware or malicious instructions, bypass authentication, exploit security vulnerabilities, interfere with service availability, attempt unauthorised access, perform intrusive scraping contrary to law, or submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening or deliberately harmful. Automated testing, crawling or security research must respect applicable law and must not impair operation or access confidential data. A legitimate report of a suspected vulnerability may be sent to legal@afterwardstechnologies.com. Such communication does not by itself grant permission to conduct intrusive testing.
8. Intellectual property and proprietary materials
Unless expressly stated otherwise, website design, original text, graphics, brand assets, software components, visual presentations, training materials and other protected works are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. Applicable copyright, trade mark, database and other intellectual-property protections remain effective.
Visitors receive no ownership of our intellectual property merely by viewing, downloading or communicating about it. Any separate project intellectual-property assignment, licence to deliverables or allocation of pre-existing tools and open-source components must be addressed in the relevant project agreement.
9. Branding, client names, references and portfolios
The name Afterwards Technologies and any associated visual identity may not be used in a way that implies authorisation, sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement without appropriate permission. References to third-party products or organisations are descriptive and do not themselves imply partnership.
Client testimonials, identified case studies, logos and confidential project details should be published only under an appropriate factual and legal basis, including any necessary client approval. The presence of a reference does not guarantee that the same functionality, performance or commercial result can be delivered in another engagement.
10. Submissions and communications from users
Users are responsible for ensuring that information they submit is lawful and that they are authorised to provide it. An enquiry should not include passwords, card security details, sensitive personal data, undisclosed trade secrets or third-party confidential material unless a secure channel and an appropriate contractual basis have been arranged.
Submission of a proposal brief does not assign its intellectual property to us. By submitting information through a communication channel, the sender authorises processing and use to the extent reasonably necessary to address the request, subject to applicable privacy law. A special duty of confidentiality, beyond duties imposed by law, should be formalised in a confidentiality agreement where commercially required.
11. AI systems, assistants and machine-generated material
Information generated or assisted by artificial intelligence can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, misleading or unsuitable for a particular context. Unless specific written service terms provide otherwise, public-facing AI responses, example outputs and demos are informational and must not be treated as a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, regulatory or other professional advice. Users should exercise independent judgment and human review before acting on generated content, particularly where health, safety, rights, money, security or significant business consequences are involved. AI systems may be subject to separate restrictions, transparency duties and riskmanagement measures under the EU AI Act and other applicable rules. The legal classification and compliance responsibilities for a particular deployed system are determined by its actual function, intended purpose and the role of each party, not by its marketing description.
12. Customer-provided data and AI prompts
Where an optional form or AI assistant accepts user content, the sender must have a lawful basis and necessary authority to submit it. Users should avoid uploading third-party personal data, confidential contracts, regulated data or privileged documents unless specifically authorised through a suitable secure and contracted workflow.
The processing and possible transfer of personal information through such functionality is explained in the applicable Privacy Policy and, where necessary, a specific notice or client Data Processing Agreement. These website Terms do not authorise unrestricted reuse of client data or prompts for model training.
13. Training, workshops and individual sessions
Descriptions of corporate AI workshops, individual learning sessions, mentoring, online classes and other training are indicative unless incorporated into a specific enrolment agreement. Dates, duration, format, curriculum, trainer availability, prerequisites, participant capacity, fees, cancellation conditions, accessibility arrangements and any course materials must be communicated as appropriate before the relevant booking becomes binding.
Unless expressly stated in an applicable offer, participation does not confer an academic degree, statutory professional qualification, independently accredited certification, guaranteed employment or a particular business outcome. An internal certificate of attendance or completion, if offered, should be described accurately and not presented as an external accreditation.
Participants must respect the intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality and lawful participation rights of trainers and other participants. Recording or publishing another participant's identifiable contribution requires an appropriate legal basis and any permissions required by law.
14. Online purchasing and consumer rights
If the website enables direct purchases or bookings by consumers, legally required pre-contractual information must be supplied before the order is placed, including the trader's legally required identity and contact information, essential characteristics of the service, total price inclusive of applicable taxes and mandatory charges, payment arrangements, performance details, complaint handling and any applicable right of withdrawal.
For a distance consumer contract, an applicable statutory withdrawal right generally cannot be removed through a general website clause. Any lawful exception for a service started during the withdrawal period, or for immediately supplied digital content, must meet the specific requirements of applicable consumer law, including any required prior express request or consent, acknowledgement, confirmation and information. A blanket statement that "all training fees are non-refundable" cannot override mandatory rights. Where services are offered solely to businesses, an individual buying in a consumer capacity does not lose consumer protections merely because a business-oriented website was used.
Online payment functionality, if provided, is subject to the authorised payment arrangements and the applicable supplier or processor terms. The site must not suggest that a transaction is final merely because a form has been submitted, where the legally required order process has not been completed.
15. Fees, quotations and expenses
Publicly displayed prices, if any, must be accurate and specify whether relevant taxes and mandatory charges are included. Unless a proposal explicitly states otherwise, third-party licences, AI API consumption, cloud hosting, domain registration, travel, paid datasets and other pass-through expenses are not presumed to be included in a custom implementation fee.
The applicable signed proposal or order determines billing currency, schedule, milestones, reimbursable expenses, scope variation and payment obligations. No price or project scope is fixed by an estimate that has not been validly accepted.
16. Third-party websites, tools and content
The website may refer to or link to third-party products, software repositories, model providers, social media platforms, learning services or external publications. These services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Unless otherwise stated in a legally effective manner, references do not amount to an endorsement, a warranty about third-party availability or an undertaking that a thirdparty service will remain unchanged. We do not purport to remove statutory responsibilities that may arise from our own selection, integration or provision of a third-party service within a contractual engagement.
17. Website availability, updates and maintenance
Reasonable measures may be taken to maintain availability and security, but an informational website may be affected by maintenance, updates, external network incidents, infrastructure failures or events outside reasonable control. A commitment to defined availability, response time or support levels arises only if separately agreed under an applicable SLA or other enforceable arrangement. We may update features, correct errors, limit technically harmful traffic or temporarily restrict an affected service for legitimate safety, maintenance or legal reasons, subject to applicable contractual and statutory obligations.
18. Security and responsible vulnerability disclosure
Users must not attempt to compromise the website or gain unauthorised access to infrastructure, accounts or third-party systems. Suspected security vulnerabilities can be reported confidentially to legal@afterwardstechnologies.com, including a description sufficient for initial investigation without accessing or disclosing unrelated data. We cannot promise a bug bounty, safe-harbour authorisation or public recognition without a distinct written policy.
Website users remain responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices and communications. Nothing in this section limits our non-waivable duties regarding data security or legally required incident response.
19. Accounts and restricted functions
If any restricted-access function or account facility is offered, users must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, avoid sharing access except where expressly authorised, and promptly report suspected account misuse. Access rights may be limited to a named individual or authorised corporate personnel under the relevant agreement.
Any contractual rights to data export, account recovery, service continuity or termination must be set out in the terms applying to that restricted service. This general section does not imply that public visitors presently have accounts or that an online account system exists.
20. Accuracy, professional reliance and no guaranteed outcomes
We aim to describe our services responsibly, but general website content is not a tailored technical audit, legal opinion, investment assessment, security certification or guarantee of suitability. References to potential productivity gains, operational improvements or successful applications depend on the client's data, processes, controls, infrastructure, implementation and continued use. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory guarantee, mandatory consumer right, duty of professional care or contractual commitment that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific service warranties and remedies, where agreed, are governed by the relevant contract.
21. Allocation and limits of liability
Liability arising from an independently concluded project or training contract is governed by that agreement and mandatory law. Regarding free, informational website use, any contractual limitation or exclusion applies only to the extent valid under the governing law and only insofar as the relevant liability is lawfully excludable.
No provision seeks to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited, including mandatory liability arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence under applicable Greek civil law, or non-waivable consumer, data-protection and other statutory rights. Nothing requires a visitor to waive a legal remedy as a condition of ordinary browsing.
22. User responsibility and third-party rights
Users must not submit material that they do not have the right to disclose, infringe the intellectual property of others, misuse personal data or employ website features for unlawful purposes. Where a person's unlawful conduct causes loss, applicable legal remedies and any enforceable indemnity must be assessed under law and the actual contractual relationship. These Terms do not impose an unlimited indemnity on consumers merely for visiting the website.
23. Restriction or termination of access
Where legally and technically appropriate, access to specific website functions may be suspended or restricted to address security threats, abuse, material legal violations or necessary maintenance. Any action involving a paid or contracted service remains subject to that service's agreed terms and mandatory rights, including appropriate notice or remedies where required.
24. Personal data, privacy and cookies
Personal-data processing associated with website use is addressed in our Privacy Policy and any applicable feature-specific privacy information. Cookies and similar technologies are subject to the separate electronic communications and data-protection requirements that apply. Acceptance of these Terms is not treated as consent to optional tracking, newsletter subscription or AI model training.
25. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect legal developments, changes to website functionality or other legitimate reasons. The version published on the website identifies its last update date. A revised version ordinarily governs future informational use from publication, without retroactively modifying agreed commercial obligations or removing accrued statutory rights. Where express notice or acceptance is required for an existing paid relationship, the applicable legal and contractual process must be followed.
26. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece, subject to overriding mandatory provisions of European Union law and any mandatory consumer protections applicable in the relevant circumstances. Disputes concerning general website use are subject to the competent courts as determined by applicable procedural and private international law. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of a court or protection available under non-derogable law.
Before initiating formal proceedings, users may contact legal@afterwardstechnologies.com in an effort to resolve a concern amicably. This is voluntary and does not suspend applicable limitation periods or restrict access to a court, regulator or other competent body. Where legally applicable, alternative consumer dispute-resolution mechanisms remain available under the relevant framework.
27. Severability, non-waiver and interpretation
If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent they can operate lawfully and independently. Failure to exercise a right on one occasion does not necessarily constitute a waiver of that right. Section headings serve convenience only and do not override the text. These Terms do not create an agency, employment, partnership, fiduciary or exclusive relationship merely through ordinary website access.
28. Accessibility and language
We seek to present website information in a clear and usable manner. Accessibility obligations, where legally applicable, are assessed according to the services actually provided and the relevant regulatory requirements. If translated versions of these Terms are provided, any rule about language precedence must be stated lawfully and may not displace mandatory rights or required consumer information in a language required by law.
29. Contact and legal notices
Questions about these Terms, alleged misuse of protected materials, security concerns or general website legal notices may be sent to legal@afterwardstechnologies.com. The use of this email address for a notice does not automatically replace a formal method of service required under a specific contract or by mandatory procedural law.
